Jaleco brings Atari's arcade classic Rampart to the NES with single or competitive two-player action!

Select your castle, build a wall around it, place your cannons, hold off the enemy (ships or other castles/cannons depending on how people are playing), repair your walls, rinse and repeat! If you fail to successfully repair your wall (read: completely enclose your castle leaving no breaks; the pieces you're allowed to construct your wall with are shaped like Tetris-pieces, so not everything fits in every single spot) in the allotted time, it may be "off to the guillotine we go" for you in this fast-paced medieval warfare-based strategy-puzzler.

Viewed by many as the precursor to modern tower defense games.
