Voted for everything but I hadn't realized how slim the future Switch pickin's are. I suppose we'll probably see a successor before 2025 at this rate. That said, 2023 was a pretty strong year! Probably my favorite for the system since 2019. A couple of my favorite releases were enhanced ports/remakes (FF Pixel Remasters and Advance Wars) but even without those there were some really solid games.

I only have myself to blame for zoning out during nominations, but no Bayonetta Origins?? It's so freaking good! The stellar presentation alone should've earned it some noms.

I can't believe Everybody 1-2-Switch got totally shafted. For shame! Once again, I predict that I didn't cast a vote for what will be the GotY. @Mop it upHaha, is it actually fun? I have an unopened copy. Origins would never win GOTY, but it's got to be the prettiest game of 2023 on the Switch. It's like Okami, but actually fun!

@Mop it upIt has almost nothing to do with the gameplay of the main series. It's more like a chill, pretty 3D Zelda-ish adventure game. Give the demo a shot if that sounds good!
