After two years of hibernation, the E3 Predict-a-ton is back!!! Last year in particular was a weird one for everybody and it was the first year in decades without an E3. Pseudo events tried to replace it but Nintendo didn't really participate. This year, E3 is all-virtual but Nintendo is all-in! So in the spirit of the season I was excited to resurrect the Predict-a-ton for E3 2021! Let's-a-go!
How To Play: ========================
Here are four sets of statements. Pick all of them you think will come TRUE. (choose as many as you like eg. A3, A6, B5, C9, D10…)
Make your choices in a prudent manner! Each category is more valuable but also becomes increasingly risky. A correct pick means you WIN those points. An incorrect pick means you LOSE those points. This means you might even end up with a negative score, but you may just succeed with the highest total instead!
Please post your predictions by the end of Friday, June 11th, as that's the eve before E3 technically begins on June 12th. I don't think it's clear as of writing this whether or not Nintendo is sticking to Tuesday for their showcase but a lot of events happen before then, so it's best to presume news will be rolling in by then.
It proves to vote early though as any statements that are confirmed ahead of the presentation will be locked and no-longer viable for new pickers. With news of a Switch Pro swirling like a pinwheel during a monsoon, one of these might go out any moment.
This one's obvious but NO editing. Your initial vote is your final vote, so make it count!
For the purposes of this challenge, ALL information that comes out during the course of the show will be taken into account. That includes the Digital Event, any potential Treehouse streaming, press meetings, online news... everything that happens before the digital doors close at the end of Tuesday, June 15th.

Last time I expanded this last time to Nintemple, Twitter, and Discord. I'm going to be doing that again this year! So if you happen to see a Google Forms list for this, but you're an active member of NegativeWorld.org, then please post your response/entry in this thread only. Thank you!
Thanks so much for keeping this going, DrFinklestein! You're the best. I'll post my predictions soon.
Did you know this is the 20th anniversary of the prediction quiz's invention? Yes, I started this for Spaceworld 2001. : O
Just for fun, here's what that looked like:

Wild to see that list! Square and Enix are seen as two separate companies! lol
I appreciate you starting this all those years back because I think it's a very clean and fun design for a game. Its current iteration is fantastic and it's why I haven't tweaked it. I've pondered adding more options per category but 10 feels really good and if I start adding more I might as well just go over every franchise for every level and make a thousand options. Wouldn't be as snappy to enjoy. So well done then and thanks again now!
Just rigged up my calculator to start tabulating and preparing for the results. I'm stoked to see how things turned out. It's great to see a wide variety of choices picked from my Negative World brethren, but apparently nobody thinks Samus is coming to Fortnite at E3. She was found to be a possibility in the Epic vs Apple trial documents, but the question of how far that did or will actually go is yet to be seen.
Looking at the Google Forms survey I see that three people have remained anonymous. The problem with this is that I can't show someone their results/ranking if I can't know who they are. I guess I'll be omitting them from the final rankings. I might make a statement on it but they can always add up their scores individually on their own time since they know what they did pick-wise. Weird.
Two entries in particular claim not to have Twitter, Discord, or a human name on Facebook. Those are the three ways I shared the form so it's weird people didn't at least pick a unique pseudonym. Whatev'.

I felt so clever for getting this prediction in at 11:30pm after this thread was posted, thinking that the Switch Pro would be getting announced the next morning before anyone else got a chance to lock their posts in...
I'm half-tempted to make a website that chronicles the success rate of Nintendo rumormongers.
In today's crazy world of misinformation, this is the most pressing problem. Still waiting on Pokemon Stars...
I kind of love that Nintendo cancelled their Star Fox and Zelda shows after plans for them leaked. Maybe that's what they're doing with the Super Switch too.
Their E3 announcement tweet did say their presentation would focus exclusively on Nintendo Switch software... does that mean that they're focusing exclusively on software, or that the software they're focusing on is exclusively for Nintendo Switch? Or are they just blatantly lying?
So bizarre. As I mentioned earlier this week, I expanded the Predict-a-ton to Twitter/FB/Discord. Of course I still ask that someone place their name of some kind in order to be able to report out their opinions.
I had one person play as Anonymous, which doesn't really do anyone any good. But then I saw an entry for "Don’t have any of these, just doing this for fun and remaining mysterious 😶"
Then I saw two of those. Very specific verbiage for two unique people to do both. So I suspect there's no other option but it's the same person. Then I saw more entries like this. Now we're up to 9 entries submitted by "Don’t have any of these, just doing this for fun and remaining mysterious 😶".
Yeah... what's the point? I can't report them out and frankly I can't trust them to be legit responses in this situation regarding any analysis of the options themselves.
Just weird. One more week to go in case anyone else want's to participate!
