The Water Temple in Ocarina of Time is not hard. Yes, there are a couple rooms you can miss and forget about, but if you're using your map, you'll see where all the chests are, can figure out where you need to backtrack to, and can then reverse engineer how to set the water level to access them. It's a phenomenal 3D spatial puzzle, is one of the best dungeons in the series, and is only in the 80th percentile of dungeon difficulty. Toggling the iron boots isn't any more tedious than switching items in any of the 2D games.
Skull Woods, on the other hand, is the hardest dungeon in the series, and stumps me for hours every time I play this game. |
