@J.K. Riki Yeah but a lot of Nintendo 1st party stuff is on sale that never goes on sale! Like, was Breath of the Wild ever on sale before?! Of course, who owns a Switch and has wanted to play Breath of the Wild but hasn't yet?
I pretty much have everything I want on here though. I might grab up Mega Man 11. I really liked Unraveled from what I played of it but I feel like I'd want to just play the first one first, though realistically I probably wouldn't play both, and the second one has co-op. HMM.
@J.K. Riki I'm becoming the same way, ha ha. It's almost like playing a game in itself, trying to guess what will be the lowest price of a game and how much it might be discounted in the future. And because this is digital stuff, I know that I don't have to worry about stock running out or production ending, so there's no hurry to get any of this stuff.
@Zero Nintendo always does holiday deals on the eShop, but outside of that I'm not sure if they've done much else, barring some coupons from My Nintendo.
And that is why it only makes sense to buy digitally when you’re actually going to play a game, because of course the price will eventually get lower. Now, if only I followed my own advise.
Hmm, if you prefer retail copies, Best Buy is having a pretty big sale. Tons of "usually don't go on sale" big Nintendo games are $39.99, among others. (There is some digital stuff mixed in there, make sure you pay attention to what you are buying!)
Volgarr the Viking is $3 on Switch right now. I liked it a lot! Absolutely worth grabbing for $3 if you're looking for that old-school Ghouls 'n Ghosts style platformer.
@nate38 Seconded on Volgarr. Super Chariot is a cool, meaty co-op game for a dollar, too. And Downwell is on sale from its already criminally low price, as well.
I love those NES controllers, if only because they don't have a freaking diamond button layout. I even like the hard corners now. They make you remember that you're alive!
