I was starting to pay attention to the forging of armor and the elemental defense.. I did well against a Ludroth (chopped off his tail) but failed to trap him - i just didn't take enough medicine with me so I will have to be better prepared. I just took what I had with 3 minutes left.

Next time.....next time....

And yeah..when Zelda hits..I will be really slow again on MH. I still have yet to finish Majora's Mask - a crime i know..but I'll get to it someday.

Wow, really? That came out way before Super Mario Galaxy! (Which I haven't finished..or started...)

How does January 11th sound to everyone? Its a Wednesday Night (like the old days..).

I spoke briefly in my community thing, but this is what we're dealing with / where I am specifically.

-I've done the 1 Star Quests, no more, no less.
-That is all I intend to do before starting up again with you guys.
-I am HR0, I have ZERO quests done online.
-Please join me at the beginning (with a *new* or *gently worn* profile).
-Goal: Play weekly, beat stuff / level up together.

Sounds like fun. If it's every Wednesday though... I might be a bit absent. My job sees me working to 11pm to midnight or later every Wednesday. While my HR is around 60-something, I could switch up and be a gunner. I don't have any weapons or armor crafted for it, virtually no experience with it, and should be able to moderate my equipment crafting to remain appropriately geared.

The idea (my hope!) is that people would start anew with a 2nd character.
I don't want to be "helped" up. I want to "earn" my way back to where I was with like-leveled folk.

And if you can play after midnight, I'll more than likely still be there.
We always played until about 3a (I'm usually up until 6a).

Yeah man, roll with a Gun if you can. That'd be pretty sweet.
If you don't want to start a second file (some people hate that idea), I'm sure there are some 60ish folks that'd work with ya.

I started gunning a little while back, it's fun but annoying to play solo. I feel like in a group of 4 a gunner is always welcome.

It's also very annoying to have to craft special materials for a gunner, and it requires a lot of inventory management.

Umm...do we have to restart? I've spent too many hours on this game and I never finished and probably never will if I have to start from scratch again...

Yeah, I'll restart, I don't mind. I can still play my HR 50 character with Anand and Fabz or randoms.

For helping me out? Yeah. I don't want to ride the coattails of an HR50+ guy, or whatever. I wanted it to be like "yeah, we did it! Together!" Mikey'll play his heavy with your heavy though. If you want to fire up a new character though, lemme know. I think you can have like 6 characters per profile.

I should be able to hop on with my brother's file he hasn't been online yet and is still on the 1* quests. I could get him to further offline to join you all next week, but I don't think I can continue later. I head back to college the weekend following.

So far its only Mikey and I confirmed, so it'd be nice to have some other folks, haha. Thats ok that he's still in the One Star Offline stuff. Heck, I'm still there myself. I don't plan on going too far ahead, probably only into the Two Star Offline while we're still at One Star Online. It'll be more challenging that way, I feel, offering us a new difficulty. I dig.

We are getting down there, sir. Fired up the 'ol MH today. Hit the Woods for a little brushup, *CONFIRMED* online works for me still. Someone said that when their Wii went down and they got it fixed, they were unable to go online after that. So yeah, we're cool and good to go over here. I didn't go out on a Quest, but I did pick a Gate on the Rookie Server, and went to my own City.

I don't have my code handy, but I CAN tell you that it is unchanged. If Anand, or MIkey, or someone could put that on here next time they're on -- along with their codes -- that would be swell.

We didn't pick up anyone else today, so it looks like we're still us 4. Really guys, if you haven't got started on Monster Hunter yet, what are you waiting for? This IS an invitation.
