Seems about what I'd expected, although I was hoping for something that rivals SSS or BIS.

Seems IGN is one of the more prominent, popular outliers when it came to reviews. But overall it seems to be reviewing rather well.

Regardless, it's good to know this series hasn't been eternally canned after the fall of AlphaDream.

Two days to beat Zelda before this comes out. Looking forward to it! I still hold Superstar Saga (the original) as one of my favorite GBA games ever.

I wouldn't expect a game like this to review particularly high, especially today.

I'll get it eventually, but I'm happy to see it exists. I honestly thought the series would be dead.

I anyone playing it? The graphical style looks cool, I've just already played three of these, I don't need a seventh one...!

Yeah this is either the 6th or the 8th, depending on if you count the re-releases.

Which reminds me, I never played Paper Jam. Ah well.

It appears we finally have our "mystery developer" for this game and it's Acquire, whose prior work include Akiba's Trip and co-developed the Octopath Traveler games with Square-Enix. The director, Haruyuki Ohashi, is also a veteran at Acquire.

Some of the designers are Alpha Dream vets though such as Shunsuke Kobayashi (Paper Jam, the two remakes), Jun Iwasaki (Paper Jam), and Akiko Sugimoto (Paper Jam, the two remakes).
