Does anybody have any experience with this one? It looks like a spiritual successor to games like Final Fantasy 7, 8, and 9. Also of note, Nobuo Uematsu was the composer. I believe I’ve seen that Sakaguchi and Uematsu may be considering this their final game as they both approach retirement.
This one got a lot of buzz when it was an Apple Arcade exclusive. Anyone ever give it a go?
I haven’t, but I’ve had my eye on this one. This is a digital-only release, right? I may give it a spin. I’ve enjoyed pretty much all Sakagichi’s post-Final Fantasy work (Lost Odyssey, Blue Dragon, The Last Story).
I played this one on the Apple Arcade. It's a solid JRPG that really harkens back to the PS1/PS2 era JRPGs.
Not quite as grand and ambitious as the Final Fantasy games of that era though even if it carries some familiar beats. But still very solid throwback all the same.
