It’s another year and we now know that E3 is never coming back. Still, Nintendo did announce that this year they planned to have a Nintendo Direct in June. Early June, Late June, who knows when.. but this month for sure. They also said that the next Nintendo console is incoming but that it wouldn’t be featured in this presentation. Are they lying? Are we on the cusp of learning more about Nintendo’s next system, or are we about to learn about all the remaining games coming before then? The back half of 2024 is quite unknown and we’re about to have the curtain lifted. You may notice that due to the fact that Switch 2 news is apparently on the back burner, there is very little reference to Nintendo’s next console below, but that doesn’t mean something couldn’t happen, so a couple of options bring light of that.
This Predict-a-ton is live from now until 8PM the evening before the day the presentation is going to be presented. I’ll try to come back and update this post when that is known. So enough rambling, Let’s-a-go!
How To Play:
========================Here are four sets of statements. Pick all of them you think will come TRUE. (choose as many as you like eg. A3, A6, B5, C9, D10…)
Make your choices in a prudent manner! Each category is more valuable but also becomes increasingly risky. A correct pick means you WIN those points. An incorrect pick means you LOSE those points. This means you might even end up with a negative score, but you may just succeed with the highest total instead! Winner is the person who obtains the highest score, even if that’s in the negatives!
Please post your predictions as soon as possible, as we simply don’t know when the next Nintendo Direct will be. It could be in 48 hours, 96 hours, or 3 weeks from now… but don’t wait!

For the purposes of this challenge, ALL information that comes out during the course of the Nintendo Direct will be taken into account. This year we only know about a Nintendo Direct. If before or during that Direct we learn about a Treehouse Presentation of some kind, the information learned in that presentation will also count towards the Predict-a-ton, pending that Treehouse even airs within 48 hours of the Direct itself ending. For example, if Nintendo had a Nintendo Direct on Tuesday, a Treehouse Live on Wednesday, and then announced another Treehouse event a week later, scores will start being tallied after the first Treehouse event only.
