Is that Elise? She's in my town too. Some of these characters are so janky looking!
So gross. And rude too. We don't speak unless I see her thinking about something. One day I shall ask her to leave and get one of those awesome looking bird people instead.
You know something? I'm going against the haters--Tom Nook is a nice guy. The worst thing I can say about him is that he's a shrewd (occasionally pushy?) businessman, but I never really got a sinister vibe from him at all. He gives you a home with a mortgage that has 0% interest forever and absolutely no penalty for never paying it off. Meanwhile, he buys all sorts of garbage from you, no questions asked, even if it's seashells and fruit that are ten feet away from his shop.
Tom Nook is a hero and you should all be grateful! GRATEFUL, I SAY.
I've been trying to get to 3 stars for days and all Isabelle says is water your flowers but I've been watering them and they're all bloomed and I also planted a bunch more that bloomed and I'm still at 2 stars. WHAT'S UP?!
@TriforceBun I dunno man, the whole "you have to pay me for me to build houses I'm going to get rich off of" scheme is pretty shifty. It's like, the opposite of how this stuff works. You should be paying ME for the scouting work I did!
More flowers. Yes, even more than you have. Friggin' Slider is crazy about them. Go super excessive with the flowers and he will come. You can remove them after when it no longer matters what the damn game AI thinks about your town design.
By the way, does anyone have any spare recipe cards for the cherry blossom stuff? For some reason I thought that was going to last all month so I never did much with it, and so I only have three of the recipes.
Makes sense that they would bring back some of the cut content and features from New Leaf. Perhaps some of it was low priority for release since the game was already delayed, or maybe they are intentionally going the Splatoon route to keep us coming back.
I'll be thrilled if they consistently update the game. There's so much potential. I'd be more than happy to pay for some premium DLC expansions as well.
There have been a number of ways that Animal Crossing players have tried to earn real world money by selling valuable items or services. This one seems like a bunch of people doing it for fun though. Don't make much money.
@Zero Was anyone interested in trying out the multiplayer stuff with you? Not really my thing to do firsthand, but seeing what people are doing with it is so interesting.
Heyyy Design Twitter. Today is the day 🎉 !! I’m hosting a @figmadesign exhibit on my #AnimalCrossing island. Add me SW-0627-0757-0206. Island will be open all day Saturday until 4pm PST. Have fun! pic.twitter.com/M6oLUuDu68
@Hinph My town had a thunder storm last night! Heavy rain, bright flashes, individual lightening strikes in distance and of course thunder! I loved it.
Did not get a chance to start playing today, so I'm going to start it in the morning. What should I name my island? Mortarland? Get it, Brick and Mortar, heh heh. Anyways, what are some tips and advice I should be aware of?
I have no intentions of ever paying Nook the 2 million Bells for this basement unless DLC someday offers additional home expansions. I guess I am now going to live in perpetual debt to the raccoon.
