amiibo is certainly turning out to be a big thing in Nintendo's eyes. Whether or not the rewards for utilizing each amiibo is worthy to you, Nintendo plans to implement all sorts of bonuses. It appears right now that every amiibo is meant to do 'something' in each game though games not featuring certain characters may have more limited uses or lesser-valued ones. We've had plenty of threads on here for amiibo and I'm sure that will continue. Still, I wanted to establish a general discussion thread that doesn't have a specific focus or thought. We'll also use this thread for informing the forums about upcoming news regarding new waves of amiibo or new compatibility. Enjoy! Tell us which amiibo you're planning to get! Anyone know when Dark Pit & Palutena amiibo are supposed to be ready for pre-order? If so, when and which retail stores? Oh yea, what about the three pack yarn yoshis? If no one knows, then what is the best way to find out this information. I keep missing all the preorder info last couple of waves. I'm tired of standing in lines for hours on end for these things. Though, at this late in the ballgame, I'm going to keep going until I collect em all! Thanks.

I have every amiibo, except, Marth, Ike, Robin(my ordered was cancelled on monday ) & Shulk. Well, actually I don't own Wii Fit Trainer, no desire to do so at above $12.99. I'd prolly pass her up even if I did see her on a store shelf.

As long as I can get Dark Pit, Palutena and the Yoshi three pack, without much hassle, then the rest of the summer will be a good one.

There's no info yet on those waves in the U.S. I've managed to lock down pretty much all those as U.K. pre-orders, shipping to the U.S. Costs a bit more but I can be less concerned about the waves once they hit here.

And, confirmed, the person I was trading with had multiple accounts, drove up their success rate by having the accounts say "trade completed!," and now I've lost my only willing trade member, and ALMOST lost my Marth into the wild blue yonder.

Another guy who was doing a trade with him got suspicious, warned me, and told me he'd let me know if he got something back in the mail. He started digging around, found some other completed trades the guy had made, investigated deeper into some screenshots the guy was taking of Amiibos. Welp, he slipped up one time, as he had his primary screenname right next to the Amiibo, but the back half of his fake screenname was on the bottom left of the frame. "Guy's so stupid he can't even cover his tracks."

So thats how that went. And now I'm not getting a crispy week-old Ness from anyone. Frowny face.

The two Gamestops here, only one got in Shulk, and only one at that. Ron said it was gone in less than 10 minutes.

I may be getting a Japanese Shulk later this summer. I have some 'rares' on order from PlayAsia but they don't ship for a while. It would be a little pricey because I'm importing then I'd have to send to someone in the U.S.

My Shulk, which was ordered a few months ago, finally showed up yesterday. That was a mighty nice surprise!
