amiibo is certainly turning out to be a big thing in Nintendo's eyes. Whether or not the rewards for utilizing each amiibo is worthy to you, Nintendo plans to implement all sorts of bonuses. It appears right now that every amiibo is meant to do 'something' in each game though games not featuring certain characters may have more limited uses or lesser-valued ones. We've had plenty of threads on here for amiibo and I'm sure that will continue. Still, I wanted to establish a general discussion thread that doesn't have a specific focus or thought. I had heard about the new ones being on Amazon the other day so I decided to mosey on the site and see if there really were any. Silver Mario was available so I decided to buy one of those, never did see any others though. I'm not sure if I'll keep it, though it doesn't appear to be very uncommon. I guess I'll see what it looks like, as I prefer silver to gold.

Because I'm trying to get Ness, and their Amiibo stuff updates like BONKERS over there. I think I have a trade lined up right now, but I'm getting pretty leery. I'll update you guys later. *fingers crossed!*

Reddit is insane. I lurk there all the time. I learned a lot about Bloodborne that way.

I use the amiiboCanada subreddit quite a bit. It's been pretty useful to me, and I even set up a trade for Beardednerd through it.

The Splatoon three-pack is at home, and I don't really want Greninja. I just want Ness.

Meh, I use the LINE app on my phone with amiiboGAF. I've gotten all of my alerts from there...works great, and I get notified when a pre-order/order goes live. I am also in the chatroom of amiiboGAF on the same app, but I muted those notifications.

I worry about that from GAF too. I got hosed out of a Shulk (the guy never responded to me after initiailly offering one), but I still ended up getting one, so no big deal.

The only deals I've done here on NW have worked out great!

This community is really great, and full of people who don't back out when they say they'll do something.

Too bad you can't say that of more online communities.

All Amiibos are that expensive in Australia. The Splatoon 3-Pack is like $50 as well. We have easy access to a lot of Amiibo, they are just a lot more expensive.
