I was going back and forth on whether to get this on disc or digitally. And then I looked up the size of the games. I pulled this from NintendoEverything.com.

"Bayonetta 2 requires 14.6GB if you plan on picking up the digital version. And together, Bayonetta 1 and Bayonetta 2 take up 32.2GB of space."

I have yet to get a hard drive for my Wii U and I want both games so I had to go with the physical version.

What is everyone else going with? There's quite an interesting setup for the digital versions. I can't seem to find confirmation right now, but from what I've heard the digital version of Bayonetta 2 is $50. And you can then get the first Bayonetta for $10. Conversely you can buy B1 for $30 and then get B2 for $30. If this is true then the digital version of Bayonetta 2 is a better price than at retail.

I plan on getting the games digitally and getting both. I have a 500GB HDD hooked up to my Wii U, so I'm not concerned about the size. Why digital? a) the Deluxe Digital Program gives me a 10% kickback
b) I have some money in my wallet from when currency cards were on sale last month (Canada - Target)
c) then my wife won't find the game case lying out and I can play the game in secret when she's not around and avoid that particular discussion...

My copy should be in the mailbox. Probably won't play until I finish Legendary mode of Hyrule Warriors, at least. *Shakes fist in general direction of Smash 3DS for taking all my gaming time away*

I'm going to get this pretty soon, but I'm currently stuck playing SSB3DS and HW. Not sure if I should bite off more than I can chew this week, especially when I need to keep workin' on books...

Also, can we get a Bayonetta 1 thread as well for the large number of us playing through that one first?

@TriforceBun I've added Bayonetta 1 to the database, so now someone can create a thread for it. I don't know anything about the game so I wouldn't know what to put in the opening post myself.

I played through the Prologue and First Chapter after work.

Man I've missed Bayonetta so much. It's just so fun to play and work out different combos, and the music is so dang catchy

I haven't played the demo so I don't know what it had but the action is just mind blowingly insane. It's so over the top and so good. Bayonetta was pretty much already my favorite action game ever and this is definitely off to a great start!

Well, not gonna start the thread for Bayonetta, but I did start the first game on very easy. I just wanna get through it and enjoy the crazy, and I have not been disappointed. I've button-mashed my way through the prologue and chapter 1 with the Peach and Daisy outfits, and it's super weird. Link and Samus costumes are next!

This game is blowing away every other game this year Just did an insane set of battles back to back that was just visually stunning and action packed with so much stuff going on in the background. Wow!

Managed to snag Target's very last copy today! I'll be digging into Bayonetta 1 this week, but I'm eager to try out both of these games.
