So is anyone else looking forward to this?

I've really wanted to play The Neverhood but the game hasn't been re-released by anyone so this follow up will have to do. All I know is that I just love the claymation style being used.

Oh - I forgot about this game. Totally meant to back it on Kickstarter. I'll love anything with Mike J. Nelson's input and it helps that the game looks utterly splendid. Is there word on a release date?

Well they are planning for a July '14 so hopefully they'll make it.

I wasn't able to donate for the Kickstarter either but I did kick over $70 on their site at the end of March (they stopped taking donations on the 31st) which entitled me to a copy of the game plus a boat load of extra stuff.

I will day 1 that! It looks awesome!

Sure! I'm a backer, the updates have been few and far between but it looks like production is going smoothly.

I grew up making a lot of claymation and playing adventure games, so this was a must.

I backed it and am getting a free copy, so sure, I'm looking forward to it.

I love the style. If the puzzles and story live up to the presentation then I'm all in.

I'm just super excited to see a HD claymation game. It is such a rare thing and I rather enjoy some of the claymation style games from the mid-'90s even if they are mostly middle of the road overall.

Though I got to imagine Doug TenNaple and his guy's will have the gameplay and story live up to the standards. All I've ever heard of The Neverhood is that the gameplay, while a more simple style of adventure game, is fantastic and having watched several playthroughs (in lieu of being able to own the game) the story is pretty simple but still good with a bit of depth. I wonder how many people read that super long passage they had in the game. That would be a feat of patience.
