Some new characters for you. Although this is not evident at all from the comic itself, this couple are, I suppose, best friends (forever!) with the couple you saw in the first comic. Of course, they have already changed a bit since this comic. As I said before, this is a big work in progress.

One thing we are trying to avoid is making one-dimensional characters, especially if that dimension is an unlikable dimension. I am learning that this is a bit tougher than it sounds, because a lot comedy traditionally relies on conflict, and when you are writing in a lot of conflict, you can easily make your characters come off as unlikable. With that in mind, the debut of these two did, perhaps, end up shallower than it could have, but I think that you will see a bit more to them in the future...

My subscription to Taco News ran out in February and I didn't re-up because of the whole Russian Taco debacle.

BTW, Russian Taco Debacle was my favorite 80s hardcore band.

When reading the title for the comic, I thought it was about our reality being too real and that it talked about how awesome would be if it was more like video games.

Still made me laugh a lot, though.

I don't like games like Animal Crossing and The Sims, much. That added me a couple of laughs.

Local here in NJ we just have an asian run chinese & mexican take out. I tried them once. The mexican rice tasted like sushi rice with adobo thrown on it.

Thanks for the comments y'all. I've unfortunately never had a Korean taco, but have been awfully curious for quite some time. I suppose I'm living vicariously through the comic on that front. :) I imagine the Korean taco would be spicy and...uh... full of bok choy?

OH, and I was thinking of Second Life (?) when coming up with the name of the game. Kind of dated, but that's ok, lol.
