Looks amazing. Still no word on if we're getting Monster Hunter 3G outside of Japan?

It looks like... Monster Hunter? With some new areas and monsters and more climbing, I guess? Which is fine by me! I would like 3G, as well, but it's looking increasingly unlikely.

The other day I was considering trying out Monster Hunter 3. This looks even better. It's on my radar now.

@Anand Yeah, that's what I meant. I figure I might as well wait for 4 at this point, assuming it gets localized within the next year or so.

Looks really nice. The visuals are extremely crisp and colourful. I have still yet to play a Monster Hunter game. I might just start with this one.

@Scrawnton Eh... I think you're wrong. The Wii version of Tri sold like a half a million copies here and nearly a million in "the West", and this is considering that the series has always been way more popular on handhelds. A 3DS exclusive 4 could potentially sell a million in NA alone. I doubt they will ignore that. Plus Nintendo themselves seemed to heavily push to get Tri released in the West. There could be some partnership.

@ZeroI'm pretty sure Monster Hunter tri has the best sales figures outside Japan. I don't know if that means overall or just console games.

@TranquiloWell, the PSP version definitely didn't sell more outside Japan. @nate38You can wait if you want, but Tri has a ton of content and online play.

3DS = Way to reward everyone who ran out and bought Monster Hunter Tri? (No, I don't care how well it does on handheld; it just did AWESOME on a home console.)

I don't know if Tri ever broke a million in the States, but last I recall it topped out at over 900k, which is nothing to sneeze at. I'm looking forward to a localization, because Capcom would be retarded not to bring it over.

If it doesn't come to America I would loose all faith in Capcom. They used to be amazing. Lately they are kinda stupid... but I doubt they are THAT stupid.

@TranquiloLOL when you asked if it was real I thought it must have stood up and spread its wings. This looks kind of like Pirates of the Caribbean.
