I wouldn't judge the level design of NSMBWU just yet, I'm sure we basically saw a few seconds of 1-1 or something.

I didn't watch the conference so I'm only going by tweets and a few comments here and there but did they say that Miiverse is coming to 3DS or that we can access it through the 3DS? I'm just wondering if we can expect a whole OS redesign, giving us a similar experience to what the Wii U will have or that it'll just be a separate app we download instead.

@VofEscaflowneI'm not really sure. They didn't really imply either way BUT I would assume it would be a similar method to how outside mobile devices will interact with the console (no firmware update for 3DS). I hope I'm wrong and they bring this functionality to 3DS so that you can tie in all of your Nintendo products under one online persona.

A complete redesign of the 3DS' social network would be amazing. Ideally, the social interface between friends on 3DS and Wii should be the same. I'd love it if they even shared the same friend lists.

Here's a question: Do you guys think we just dodged a bullet with the move from Circle Pads to Clicky Sticks? I like the feel of the Circle Pad on the 3DS, but I was a bit skeptical that it'd be a solid idea for the tablet. Does it "mean" anything that Nintendo abandoned the idea, even after having demonstrated it last year?

A little bit, but mostly because of the clickable sticks part. That seems like something which people would complain about being absent. Circle pads vs sticks doesn't seem like it'd be much of an issue in itself.

Well @Mop it up,the slidepads are frequent complains for the newcomers to the 3DS system. Of course, you get used to it, but it certainly feel different than Analog sticks & the ones that are on the updated controller looks very nice & high quality. The clickable sticks are a no-brainer for cross-platform games, so I guess it came mostly from the devs.

The social integration stuff looked interesting. I am curious as to how open that will be though. The video looked like he was calling up some random gamer who knew how to help but such a thing would be very much against what Nintendo online has been all up until this point.

@JargonThe first Conduit was pretty enjoyable although maybe a little bland. I had a lot of fun with the online. But I definitely am not interested in a sequel. Had it just released, I would have told you to give it a try. But now, nah. Plus, I have a major crush on TS4 and the possibility of it that I just can't let go of yet. @kriswrightI think that Circle Pads are great for the handheld because they're flat and nice to use, but I don't think they're great for prolonged play-times, which tend to happen more for me on a console. So I'm happy to see normal joysticks back, however, this clickable part I just don't care for as I can't recall ever needing such a button.
