Why not sign up for a (free) account and create your own content?
The only thing I don't like is that you seem to have to force it to search for new messages if your 3DS is open and not in sleep mode. It's very slow process. Hopefully they can make it a bit more seamless with updates...

Have you gotten anything after stationery? I wrote two notes with new stationery and still no more notes from Nikki.

I've yet to unlock new stationary (do we really need to spoiler tag unlocks in this? haha).

Haha, better safe than sorry! I'm just worried that colors aren't in it at all. Could Nintendo be so stupid?

Don't answer that.

I'll be sending you all some cool 3D pictures I've taken.

You unlock stuff at a snail's pace in Freaky Forms as well. I don't like this side of Nintendo. It's as if they looked at iOS games and saw the grinding in the freemium-type games, but missed the point.

I think you already know the answer

Do I even have you added to my 3DS friend list? I didn't see you in the friend codes list...

I'm going to take a wild guess and say this app will be built in to animal crossing 3ds. You will be able to, in game, send messages to any of your friens regardless of them owning animal crossing. You will also be able to read any message sent to you while in game. This will be the mail box feature in the game.

If you write a note on every stationery you unlock adding sounds and using play coins

Nope, let me get you my code number

Oh wow, you have to use 15 play coins to unlock the "sound recording" stuff. Sigh

Do you not have play coins?

Way to ruin the spoilers! I had 30. I don't really bring my 3DS out with me.

Oh, well you should! Streetpasses are fun.

So this software wasn't "free" after all, was it? hehe.

Btw, let's not spoiler Swapnote features...

Yea, Streetpasses are fun. Also non-existent in Hartford, Connecticut.

Why not? If something is unlockable I think it makes sense to put it in spoiler text at least in a thread like this. I didn't use the spoiler text in the main Swapnote thread.

I live 30 minutes south of Pittsburgh and my 3ds is still the only one I've ever seen. I've never seen another except demo units, I've never had a street pass..

I had a neighbor with one and with his help I got through Find Mii twice, but he seems to have moved or gotten rid of his 3DS. Else than him, only time I've gotten streetpasses is in New York City and Montreal, pretty much.

You didn't get any while Christmas shopping? Weird, I got like 5 in a couple hours...

I didn't get any while Christmas shopping and I've been at stores several times these past few weeks when it was pretty busy. I'm hoping after Christmas there will be more 3DSs out there

It's good to know that redeemable codes for games will be going around for websites to distribute them like codes for XBLA/PSN games cause I just won one yesterday for Mighty Switch Force

I feel bad for the games coming out for the eShop at the moment. I want to support these guys and load up my 3DS with games, but I feel I should finish some GBA games first.

The timing is kinda terrible.

They'll still be there whenever you finish up.
