Hi guys! With BitF ending soon, I've been working on a few other projects. You all know about Tadpole Treble already, but I'm also doing some of the music for another upcoming game: Nefarious!
This game is all about being the bad guy. The premise involves an up-and-coming villain, Crow, and his quest to kidnap princesses throughout the world...but the royalty don't plan on going quietly! From what I've seen of this game behind the scenes, it's got a great style to it and a really fun premise. The stars of the show might actually be the princesses themselves, a varied and creative bunch that all stand out in their own ways.
Here's a sample of the main theme that I've composed. That's me on the sax!
I know that lots of Kickstarter people pay off their own Kickstarter to make their goal. I mean it makes sense, it's better to pay a small percentage to Kickstarter and get the $45,000 or whatever than to lose everything. And $5000 in two hours or whatever just smacks of that maneuver.
Unless he made 89 accounts with 89 different credit cards, I'd say diligent work to bring awareness to this in it's last day did the trick. The last five hours had people from all over the internet working to advertise. I'd call it much less a conspiracy and a lot more a kickstarter-miracle.
The only thing that amazes me more is the fact that means the average increase was over $100 a backer. That's something when the game itself is only $15. I wonder if there was a HUGE backing of some kind.
