    I'm all over the Heroes of Ruin demo, 2020 Super Baseball (if that's the game I'm thinking of) and Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword. Woo! Good week, even if ambassadors already have the two NES games!

    edit - 2020 Super Baseball is NOT the game I was thinking of. Oh well, still a good week!

    As much as I've been clamoring for Virtual Console games on the eShop, I'm so glad that 8-Bit Summer doesn't mean that we're ONLY getting Virtual Console games. This is what they need to do -- release games in al of their downloadable "formats". Look at that list -- two NES games, two 3D games, two DSiWare games, a demo, a WiiWare title, and a Wii VC game, plus the sale and all those DLC songs. I think they're finally getting it.

    I'll definitely check out Heroes of Ruin, and I still haven't bought Bomb Monkey, so I might download that this weekend.

    @Guillaume

    From what I gather, the Heroes of Ruin demo is online enabled as well. That is a strong selling point for me, and this demo really will help influence a purchase...could have a ton of replayability ala PSO. What I wouldn't give for a proper PSO on 3DS...

    I'd like those Theatrhythm songs but they really should be cheaper than that. I'm hoping for future bundles or something. It's just that you're already paying 40$ for a game that has a bit over 70 songs. Buying less songs than that as DLC will end up costing you more than the game itself.

    Eh, I don't have an issue with the song prices. They're optional content on top of the already packed-to-the-brim game, so it's just added fun. I already bought four of them.

    @VofEscaflowne That's how Guitar Hero / Rock Band worked! Though I was never a fan of that.

    Has anyone ever gotten into it before? I have seen the trailer and it does look very attractive, in terms of gameplay. I may pick it up, if enough positive feedback is seen.

    EDIT:

    Also, The Legend of Zelda. Oh Yeah, baby.

    I'm pretty excited about Nintendo actually doing things with the eShop. With that said, nothing this week in particular excites me. I might try out Sakura Samurai: Art of the Sword.

    I've seen a lot of praise for Sakura Samurai. IGN called it "the best thing to hit the eShop since Pushmo" in their review.

    Yeah I suppose I'd only buy those that interest me once I'm finished with the main stuff.

    Can anyone confirm that the Heroes of Ruin demo has online multiplayer?

    @GameDadGrant

    If it's the same as the European demo, then it does.

    EDIT: There's also a Swapnote update that adds colors.

    BTW guys, the Ice Climbers (NES) that released on the eShop in Japan this week has a download play option, and it updates for ambassadors. Bodes well for future VC games

    Sakura Samurai is a hella fun title. I'm surprised y'all don't have it yet. Seriously, it was Pushmo before Pushmo was Pushmo (as in, it is worth the creation of the eShop for this game to exist).

    Woah. Man it would be sweet if we could get Mario Tennis GBA with download play added someday.

    So multiplayer action? Very cool!

    Interesting! In that case, maybe it will make sense for Pokémon Red/Blue/Yellow and Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal to show up on the 3DS VC now. Since multiplayer is a thing that can happen, having the old-school Pokémon games available for download makes sense.

    Kind of. I still don't see the need for those old games when we've got far better sequels that pretty much do the exact same thing as the old games, but...whatever. I'm certainly a minority when it comes to releasing those games on the eShop, so what do I know?
