Looking forward to receiving some ambitious swapnotes from artistic NWers. VC ignored...WHY.

Wow, still no 3DS Virtual Console update? Seriously? WTF. EDIT: No VC sucks, but at least the new digital downloads seem cool. Colors! 3D is pretty robust and full-featured, and that new WiiWare game, TNT Racers seems pretty fun. It's also on XBLA and PSN, and general reception of the game from those users is positive. I saw a video of it on YouTube and it's kind of like R.C. Pro AM. So yeah, not too shabby. *shrugs*

@ZeroIt does look pretty neat with the 3-D layers and all, but I already have Art Academy and I never use it, drawing on that tiny screen is not ideal. I might still buy it though, I usually cave and get every eShop game, Diox might be the only one I don't have so far.

Every eShop game!? WTH man?! But yeah, I'm not sure if I'd actually use an art app much, especially since I already have SwapNote. Could be interesting. I dunno. I guess it depends on how many people here actually buy it and use it and share stuff and such. See Stephen, another Nintendo platform game where my purchase hinges on the online.

@ZeroThere haven't been that many so far, like 8 or something. Freaky Forms, Pushmo, Sakura Samurai, Zen Pinball, Mutant Mudds, Mighty Switch Force, Fun! Fun! Mini Golf, Dillon's Rolling Western, maybe a couple I'm forgetting...

Oh, is that all? You forgot the first one, Let's Golf 3D!Actually we have gotten a pretty solid line-up so far, not much (if any?) trash and some bona fide gems.

@ZeroI don't consider that Let's Golf game a true eShop game but it's A: Gameloft and B: a port of an iPhone game, yuck! Also, I'm downloading Colors 3-D right now, will post impressions later.

I think Let's Golf 3D is an ok game, although it has some weird slowdown issues. And yeah it is Gameloft, so it is basically what you would expect... a competent but utterly devoid of true personality golf game. I dunno, I bought it, put 10 hours or so into it, haven't touched it since but don't regret it.

Colors is kind of cool, you can't really draw in 3-D, you can draw in flat layers that are in 3-D, like Mutant Mudds or Swapnote, so you can get some neat effects. Not sure if it was worth $7 but it's pretty fun. I'm sure people like Carlos and JKR would get a kick out of it.

7 bucks for Colors! ? Damn...I wish it were 5...a painting app sounds fun but when you actually try to use them they all seem to fall flat.

I decided to pick up Colors 3D. It helps that I had some points sitting on my 3DS from a points card I got for my birthday. I used swap note a few times to doodle and I always ran out of ink before I got much done. So I wanted something more expansive. I've worked on a couple of rough works so far. We'll see how much time I put into it, but I think it's worth the price.
