Seems weak overall, especially considering the bulk of people on this board already own Metroid in some form or another. The Crush 3D demo is nice, as I'm genuinely curious about that title.

It IS weak.

The eShop VC is not living up at all to the beginnings of the Wii's eShop, not even close.

You'd think we'd get more than one demo a week, too.

Grah, that *IS* kinda weak. Seriously, where is Wario Land?!?

But the Crush 3D demo is something I'm quite interested in, so I'll download that later today.

Weak update is weak... Sigh... I'll try the crush demo when I get home from work/gym

So I guess that means we can update Metroid the same way Super Mario Bros was updated back when that came out. Crush 3D demo is nice... but yes, weak update. Then again it's not something we're not used to already.

Terrible update.

I'll download the update for Metroid.

But I won't like it.

Oh, and I'll check out the CRUSH3D demo since I'm kind of interested in that game. Still waiting on Wario Land though...

For those who care: the original (plain 2D) Crush is on sale right now on PSN for PSP and Vita owners...

Agreed, and North America has the least amount of titles of any major region. Only by a couple of titles, but still...

Fifty VC games. Twenty are ambassador titles, only two that are available in the eShop. Nintendo really needs to get the ball rolling.

EDIT: There is some good stuff coming, but there's plenty more that I would like to see.

Heads up for Ambassadors that didn't already do this, but... all the NES Ambassador titles have updates. You can download them all now if you haven't already.

@GameDadGrant
I did this on Monday but none of them updated to have save-state or NES logo.

@GameDadGrant

They update nothing as far as I know. It's not the same update Super Mario Bros got with the new 3D icon and save sates. It doesn't even add the option to use X instead of B either.

EDIT: I wonder what's with these updates though. They even updated the Ambassador Certificate!

Nothing of interest but that's okay I'm still playing Dillon's Rolling Western and having a pretty good time.

@anon_mastermind, @VofEscaflowne

Yeah, I wasn't sure what the update was for. Maybe it was to add two-player support?

I can't really test that out, though.

WHERE ARE THE GAME BOY GAMES

NES GAMES ARE NOT A SUBSTITUTE

Nintendo's download service is starting to P me O. Not only do they not let us transfer downloadable games between systems, but they "rerun" these things instead of giving us new, viable VC games on the Game Boy.

Ugh, this is getting irritating. It feels like we're wasting a ton of weeks getting NES games that we've already gotten on the Wii. Is this a sign of things to come on the Wii U? Every week, a SNES game that we could already get on the Wii?

@TriforceBun

I'd be very surprised if Wii Virtual Console and WiiWare downloads are not transferable to Wii U. Everything (mostly) that was downloadable on DSi is transferable to 3DS, so it makes sense that the same would be true for the consoles.

It is irritating that Virtual Console downloads already purchased on Wii can't simply be transferred to 3DS though. However, as an Ambassador, this does not affect me at all. I'll probably get more up-in-arms about it once Nintendo tries to re-sell me something like Wario's Woods or Star Tropics on 3DS.

I'm actually totally excited about this week, since I've always wanted to try Crush. And here it is!

I agree about the Game Boy VC, though. Sad. :(

Why does it take so long to bring titles to there VC services. Why not just do a bunch of them at once instead of only one or two each week? I dont undertand the logic.

Hey Nintendo we would like to give you our money, please provide games so we can.
