Why not sign up for a (free) account?

Tempted for that Metroid II. How is it compared to Super Metroid or Metroid (the original)?

I loved the former, barely ever got into the latter cause it was kinda random and boring. I'm convinced I just didn't give the original enough time.

If we're doing Metroid II RGC, I'll hold out for now. There are a few DSiWare games I want to pick up in the mean time, namely Go Go Kokopolo and Cave Story.

By the way, someone on GAF said Zen Pinball is on the release list for December 1st. Woo!

I think it's the worst in the franchise (unless we count Hunters), but it's still a classic. Great game. The Varia Suit wouldn't have big shoulders without it!

@GelatinousEncore

*looks at Other M* Yeah, about that.

Anyways, after seeing this, Link's Awakening and Super Mario Land release on the VC, I think I'm going to get a points card so I can get them if I get a 3DS next month.

There's a typo in the OP. It says Metroid II: Return or Samus. (it should of course say "of" instead, lol)

EDIT: I really enjoyed Metroid II; it's arguably the most important entry in the entire series. It's probably not as solid of a game as Super Metroid, but it's far more enjoyable than the original, IMHO. Worth buying for any gamer than hasn't played it before.

Ehh, a Metroid game

I have heard that Metroid II is different from the other games somehow, so maybe I'll track down a copy someday. Not before I get myself Link's Awakening though!

Metroid II is awesome! It's much easier to get into than Metroid 1, in my opinion. I definitely recommend it.
