Hm, Game and Watch Gallery? Will this be a new game? It's not under VC.

@Secret_TunnelIt's four G&W games. I don't think they're technically a "3D Classic", but they aren't Virtual Console, so...I don't know? Perhaps this is the birth of 3DSWare?

They're yet another category to add to the mess that is the eShop.

They are just and old Game Boy Cartrige with four Game & Watch games.

Ah. So it's the Virtual Console then. I can handle that...just wonder why it wasn't listed as such.

Anyone happen to play G&W Gallery? How are the updated versions of the games?

@TriforceBunVastly superior to the original games in terms of presentation: characters we love, actual animation, sounds that don't pierce your eardrums, and MUSIC! Also, a bunch of extra modes and crap. I'll likely buy it.

The Game & Watch Gallery games are incredible. The first one I'm not as into (it has 4 games, both original and revamped), but both Game & Watch Gallery 2 (which has 5 games plus one unlockable, both original and revamped) and G&WG3 (which has 5 original and revamped games, as well as 6 unlockable original games) on the Game Boy Color are some of my favorite games of all time. The updated versions have so much charm, great soundtracks, and being able to play the original versions is great as well. You get stars depending on how many points you earn in each game (each difficulty and mode has its own set of stars to earn, so there's a lot) in the different games, and these stars can unlock hints, museum pieces, and some hidden games to play. I haven't played Game & Watch Gallery 4 on the Game Boy Advance, but I want to check that out as well someday.

@ludist210 Pretty sure they've just been listing all 3DS VC games as eShop games, probably to minimize confusion with that other Virtual Console they've got going on. Supposedly Europe is getting Mario's Picross this week -- I was really hoping we'd get that too. I love me some Picross!

@Jargon Virtual Console games that are 3D-enhanced will be listed as eShop games. That makes me wonder if Game & Watch Gallery is 3D-enhanced. If not, then I wonder what it's doing there.

@X-pert74Are they enhancing Gameboy games? I thought just NES games so far.

@Jargon I don't know; I thought it was just NES games as well. I guess we'll find out more tomorrow.

@rebonackI thought Mario's Picross would be for US this week, as GoNintendo posted the news bit for it today and said that it would be hitting the 3DS VC this week. Perhaps RMC forgot to add Europe into the mix. Drats. Hopefully we'll get it soon, as Mario's Picross was one of my favorite GB games at the time, and a game I hold in extremely high regard. As a slight aside, I'd also like to see Mario's Super Picross hit the Wii VC in import form, as it was a game I always hoped to get the chance to play.

@TriforceBunThey're definitely worthwhile updates. And the 3DS will be a good fit for the dual-screen ones. It still kind of blows my mind that the DS never saw a proper G&W Collection. It's, like, THE system for it. @NoNameHave all of the Mario Picross puzzles appeared as downloadables on Picross DS? @X-pert74You should definitely check out G&W Gallery 4. It's huuuuge. So many games.
