Nintendo's support site now lists 19 exceptions to the DSiware titles that can be transferred from an owner's DSi to a 3DS.

These are the only ones I'm kind of bummed about not being able to be transferred over:

Asphalt IV
Flipnote Studio
Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon

I wonder *why* exactly they can't be brought over? Seems kinda strange to me.

Sweet I don't have any of those games.

Pshh... Earthworm Jim is a 3DSphobe.

I wish I could transfer my Flipnotes. BOO.

@GameDadGrant

Not sure.

I wonder if we will be able to purchase them at all on the 3DS. Otherwise I will have to revise my "DSiware you need to buy on 3DS" article...

Flipnote Studio is odd as well. I was really looking forward to finally trying it. Maybe it will update in the future?

@Guillaume

I wonder if they're not transferable BECAUSE you'll be able to purchase them on the 3DS.

Huh, weird.

No worries for me, the only one I have there is Flipnote and 1) It was free and 2) As an animator it's very limiting to me, so I don't use it.

@Jargon

You'll be able to purchase over 350 DSiware titles at launch. So no.

@ludist210

Yeah, as Warerare pointed out, we're getting an all-new Flipnote 3D.

@Guillaume

I know, but these are the games they might have reason to believe you'll buy again (such as Flipnote 3D, as warerare mentioned)

This doesn't really bother me. The only games in there I'd consider getting are Earthworm Jim and Oregon Trail, and both games are available in other formats.

@Jargon

Flipnote is free.

That's my question, although Flipnote Studio is the only one on the list I'm all that interested in.

I had EWJ and Pinball Pulse. I will miss Pinball Pulse.

I don't plan to part with my Dsi XL so this news is void.

It really does suck for Pinball Pulse. My $5, gone forever (once I trade my DSi for an XL)!!

In other news, it looks like your save data for all your DSiWare games will be lost when you transfer them to the 3DS. LAME.

I'm pretty sure I'm just gonna keep my DSiWare games on my DSi, and just start buying stuff on the 3DS from now on.

Not sure why I was worried, but I did check that list twice to make sure Shantae made the cut.
