Best news I've heard about SS in a long time. Maybe ever. Galaxy 1 and 2's soundtracks are phenomenal, possibly BOTH ranking in my top 3 game soundtracks ever! They have the perfect blend of compositional quality, raw emotion, and instrumental quality, and hearing that mix of sound for a Zelda soundtrack will be the Best Thing Ever. Hype for SS doubled.

Absolutely amazing news. Knowing the big N I assumed they'd just MIDI it again. Also, I agree: Super Mario Galaxy 1 and 2 have soundtracks of yumminess (including the MIDI stuff).

Huh. It will be interesting to hear his take on Zelda music. Looks like he is being groomed to be Koji Kondo's successor in a lot of ways. I hope there are some Kondo compositions in the game as well.

NICE!! I was happy when Miyamoto said it last year, but that was hardly a confirmation (it seemed more like an on-the-spot "sure why not"). This is more concrete, and I cannot wait to hear even a taste next week.

Thank god! There better be! Maybe even better news that Mahito Yokota is behind it. Him and Kondo seem to understand that orchestration means nothing when it isn't backed with a quality, memorable composition.

Good news. Kind of expected at this point, but then again, Nintendo rarely does the expected. Still no voice acting. Not that I care.

I thought it was just one track? And probably the one we've heard in the trailers already... Edit: Nevermind, I got this confused with Zelda OOT 3D. K this is good news to get a confirmation. Hopefully the music ends up being as good as SMG cuz what I've heard so far sounds kinda meh.

@carlosrox Are you referring to the Zelda theme backwards composition? I thought it actually worked surprisingly well, and can't wait to hear it intertwined throughout the game's compositions.

Hey, fantastic news! Agree with TriforceBun about how much orchestration was appreciated in the Galaxy games.

After ZREO has shown me how amazing Zelda music orchestrated is (especially soon when they have a TRUE orchestra doing the Twilight Princess soundtrack), PLUS how Mario Galaxy showed us it's amazing quality.... YES YES YES!

That's excellent! Now let's hope the actual compositions are up to stuff too...I thought TP had a highly unmemorable soundtrack and the DS games even less so.
