Tank Troopers
– ATTENTION! Calling all troopers for six-player tank warfare! Choose a tank, pick troopers and battle your friends via local wireless. Each trooper has a special ability, from electric shocks to healing. Deploy them tactically to win more than 30 custom tanks with unique stats. An engaging single-player mode contains 30 stages, so you’ll have to devise a multitude of strategies and maneuvers to conquer them all. Battle with bombs, on teams or in a free-for-all – but always fight! Fight! FIGHT! (When playing in multiplayer mode, additional games and systems are required and are sold separately.)

Back to Bed
– Back to Bed is a 3D indie puzzle game set in a unique and artistic dream world, in which you guide sleepwalker Bob to the safety of his bed. To achieve this, you must take control of Bob’s subconscious guardian named Subob. The pair travels through a surreal and painting-like dream world, filled with objects used to guide Bob toward the Bed, but also dangers that must be avoided.

Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber
– Ogre Battle 64: Person of Lordly Caliber is a tactical RPG originally released for the Nintendo 64 system. The game tells the story of Magnus Gallant, a recently graduated officer of the Palatinean Army who is assigned to the troubled southern region of his native land. NOOOOOOOOOO! Ogre Battle 64?! DARN IT NINTENDO WHY NOT WAIT TWO WEEEEEEEEKS!

I'm not buying anything else on the Wii U but I would be in my living room right now getting this for the Switch if it was a Switch VC game!

I really hope that since they're still releasing stuff on the Wii U VC means that they plan on making everything there available on the Switch VC as well. If not all at once, maybe at least a good chunk of it. Save for the DS games, because I'm not sure how you can do those on the Switch without having it out of the dock at all times to use a touch screen.

Also, I'm hoping that you can get 3DS VC games on the Switch. I'd love to have a library of console and handheld games to take with me anywhere.

@Paleo_Orca

Reggie hinted *something* but who the hell knows.

It would be pretty cool if all my console VC titles became *handheld* VC titles thanks to the platform change.

@ludist210

Did you play the first one? I wanted to do an EC with us..but who the heck knows.

@J.K. Riki

Yeah, it REALLY is garbage timing. Like, THE WORST.

@Mr_Mustache

Nope, but I finished the first "mission" last night (after failing it once) and I dig it. I just wish movement was a bit faster.

@ludist210

(Which brings me back to the old EC thread, of people wishing the game was better in some aspect only to find that it is,) have you adjusted the movement speed? I'm pretty sure you can... If you're at the top speed, I find it hard to believe that it would still be too slow for ya.

@Mr_Mustache

It's at top speed, as is text. Movement is still a bit slower than I would like, but I can work with it. I guess once battles become more hectic, I'll wish it were slower.

Theatrhythm FF is so good.

@ludist210

If you remember playing Ogre Battle, you'll notice that your characters all fight in a big schmoz, sometimes starting their attack before another one is finish, and in certain events, double-teaming the same guy with a VICIOUS magic attack or an upgraded physical attack. Such a rad game..

This VC dump is pretty baffling. But if they're negotiating rights at this point, then the Switch HAS to be included, right? I also hope that VC releases carry over, somehow.

I was actually going to hack my 3DS so that I could import games like Theatrhythm DQ (and some other stuff), but my nephews came and updated it to the latest firmware, apparently. Oh, well!

I'm kind of eager to try Tank Troopers. The lack of online is pretty weird, though.
