 |
Fallout is a turn-based Western RPG set in a retro-futuristic post-apocalyptic California. Was originally intended as a sequel to another post-apocalyptic RPG titled Wasteland, but when the company developing it, Interplay, was unable to secure the rights to the Wasteland name, they decided to create a new game with similar themes and game elements. Fallout ended up becoming a hugely successful series in its own right, that still exists to this day, albeit in the form of first-person shooter/RPG hybrids.
