Released worldwide in 2009, this sequel expanded on many design and gameplay aspects of the original Saints Row. The series' sense of humor became more apparent in this entry, while still retaining some darker story elements during the main game. Saints Row 2 laid the groundwork for the series to become more silly and over-the-top in its future.
This PC version of Saints Row 2 was widely panned for being such a rushed, glitchy port. Fans have attempted to fix the issues present in this PC release via mods such as Gentlemen of the Row, but your mileage may vary.
