Data East returns to the NES with the second installment in the
RoboCop trilogy. The gameplay remains fairly unchanged, a side-scrolling run 'n gun / beat 'em up hybrid, but adds in a new element. Throughout each stage, you'll have to collect 2/3 of the drug Nuke, and arrest (as opposed to killing) 2/3 of the unarmed suspects, or rescue 2/3 civilians. If you fail to satisfy both requirements, you're sent to a firing range to test for calibration. Using a targeting reticule, you'll have to achieve a certain score to move on. If you once again fail, you must repeat the initial stage.
This game has both a ramp up in graphics and difficulty, but includes battery backup saves.
