Xenoblade Chronicles is a role-playing video game published by Nintendo and developed by Monolith Soft for the Wii. The game follows a young man named Shulk, who wields the titular Xenoblade - an energy blade called the Monado - against the Mechon in order to ultimately save the world. The game was released on June 10, 2010 in Japan, in all other major regions throughout 2011... except for America. It will be released in the United States in April 2012 after a long fought campaign titled Operation Rainfall where many disgruntled fans pledged support for bringing this game to the US.
