I'm a sucker for these little tech demos. 1, 2, Switch was a great rental back in the day, and if this one's only ten bucks, I'll absolutely try it out. Anything with Gameboy Camera energy has earned my attention.
I thought this looked like it would be a fun little freebie tech demo bundled with the system, then was surprised to see it's a paid app. We'll see how much it costs, I guess.
Love the idea of this, hate the idea of having people pay for it. Like, the system is costly enough as it is. Give people one more measly reason to feel like they're getting some bang for their buck here, Nintendo. What the heck.
It's so weird that this is a paid game. Like, it's literally called "Welcome Tour" and it teaches you about different Switch 2 stuff. I'm betting it was supposed to be free but then the economic situation blah blah blah.
I'll buy it for $10 or so but if they try to $40 or $60 this, nah.
It's the kind of decision that makes me wonder if they're run by the kind of people who tell their kids that "nothing in life is free" when they ask for stuff.
This looks pretty cute. And the presentation looks amazing. I love the idea of walking around in the guts of the console. It's fantastically nerdy. If the minigames are fun and plentiful, with good high score potential, I'll buy it.
