I'm actually considering picking up Lost Levels (Likely through the All Stars version on Wii) at some point due to this video.

I thoroughly liked it when I played it on the All-Stars Wii version. I needed some save state action to accomplish it though. I wouldn't be able to beat it without saving after certain levels. I won't be watching this whole 2 hour + video but it's a fun idea nonetheless.

I've entertained buying the VC version but never got around to it. Mostly it is because I just don't think SMB2J is all that good. I've read from many sources that was designed to be frustrating.

I like it quite a bit.

I played through it all and beat it on SNES (Super Mario All-Stars) and then did it again on Gameboy Color (Super Mario Deluxe). It's a neat little game that will challenge Super Mario veterans. I don't find it as fun as the other games in the series. Still worth playing though, IMO.

Mannn, this is what I wanted to do at a Meetup, or what I had in mind when we were doing our SMB runs a couple years ago here.

--Boy, Scurvykip having a rough time! Tough game though, I don't miss it.

Pure evil. Some people seem to have fond memories of the All-Stars version, but the NES version is a real kick in the balls.

So I didn't die once in the first level and even managed to rack up some extra lives and then I got my first game over in the second level.

This is going to be fun.
