I've seen a lot of people say that the Switch is more comfortable than the Wii U Gamepad. (Part of that whole 'Make something look good by disparaging something else' trend.) (more)

For me it has got to be the next 2D Zelda. I'd like it to be less like the DS ones and something closer to Four Swords Adventures but with the focus being on single player. The last game that truly fit that for me was probably Minish Cap... (more)

I feel like we don't discuss these games very much here, but there have been quite a few good ones lately. I actually can't keep up with them... (more)

We already know most of the 2017 stuff. So let's just assume that we know all of it... (more)

That's the pejorative, but really I mean art games. Or, more generally, games that have almost no traditional game mechanics. Interpret that however you want. (For example, I would include story-based stuff like classic PC Adventure games.) (more)

Percentage-wise. Just curious. (I also want to analyze my own habits.) (more)

How do you guys feel about the choices and tradeoffs Nintendo made in designing the Switch hardware? Hardware, in this case, would include the CPU and graphics processor power, the memory (RAM), the onboard storage, the battery, the charging solution, the screen, the overall size, the game media, the controllers, and even the hybrid nature of the system itself... I mean, even smartly-chosen, low-effort ports could have scored big with a hungry, engaged Switch audience. (And I'm looking forward to seeing Rockstar's rationale for continuing to hold out on a GTA port.) (more)

Breath of the Wild is two weeks off, and I can't control my hype for it. I haven't been this excited for a game since Brawl--heck, I'm not sure I even have been excited for a game since Brawl. I figured now would be a good time to go back over the series as a whole to try and let out a bit of the Zelda pressure building in my skull... (more)
