I... can't believe this. Why would Capcom announce this game and have all the contests and fan-submissions if they aren't even fully-committed to releasing this game? If Capcom ends up not releasing this, I will be so disappointed. Mega Man Legends III is a game I've been wanting to play for over a decade, and the doubt over the possibility of this game's release is like a kick in the face. Nintendo are truly going all out with the Anti-Piracy measure with the 3DS. GoNintendo has picked up word from retailers in Japan that they will check any 3DS systems brought for trade in because Nintendo are going to brick systems via firmware updates if a flash cart shows up in the activity log... Not the hugest deal, but definitely cool that they're doing that. This may further cement the game as the ultimate version of OoT. I'm wondering now how they'll do the Stone of Agony though... (more)

Ten bucks says this is more viral marketing for Bob's Game. If you've never heard of Bob's Game- well, it's a long story. Long story short, a guy named Bob made a game for the DS. He showed it off, interest built up on the internet, and he was contacted by publishers. He asks Nintendo for a dev kit so he can finish the game- Nintendo never responds. Bob starts an insane 100 Day Protest of Nintendo by locking him in his room. Through the course of the 100 Day Protest he was raided by the police, claimed to be abducted by aliens, and earned the reputation as one of the biggest trolls of all time... (more)
