So... here we are with a 30 cent game on the Wii U. I bought it expecting to be like yeah I remember this game, was fun at the time, but is now way dated. But you know what? F THAT. I still love this game! Just played through the first set of races. It's still a great game... (more) |

So I got a tweet that said this game was available on the eShop. Well, I enjoyed Samurai Warriors 3 for its local AND online multiplayer, so I'm hoping to find at least that much enjoyment here. I've always been a fan of the series, from what I've seen of it, as it was the first story I've been exposed to in which you don't watch to see "whether the good guys or the bad guys win" but you watch to see "how badly the good guy(s) obliterate the bad guys." You watch this show to see the villains, people with no redeeming values at all, beg and plead for their lives, and then die in the most humiliating ways. That's what got me hooked... (more) |

I think that had Guild 01 been released as it was in Japan (as a retail game containing this game as well as the fantastic Crimson Shroud), it might have been my game of the year. As it stands, both these games come very, very close to the top of the 26-or-so 2012 releases I've played on Nintendo hardware!.. (more)
