So anyone who enjoys telltale's stuff should check this out. It's really solid. This game has a really good branching dialogue system that's leagues better than what anything else with that kind of system can do and while that dialogue system is most of what this game has to offer it's still well worth checking out... So this is a really clever use of the Wii remote. Basically this was an arcade game back in the day and the cabinet literally had a light gun and holster set up of some sort and the idea behind it is that you keep the gun holstered at all times until you are ready to shoot. This is replicated on the Wii by keeping the wii remote pointed down until that little window of opportunity when you can shoot... (more)

As someone who has been way down on the Mario Tennis franchise for probably a decade (of Chance Shots), Mario Tennis Aces looks freaking amazing. They've finally rehauled those tired, unintuitive mechanics. Into something that even less resembles tennis, granted, but it seems incredibly fun. Like a tennis fighting game! Blocks, Specials, a meter, Supers, Taunts, and a c-c-combo breaker! It has genuinely become one of my most anticipated games. I love the Block mechanic, since it actually prioritizes timing, whereas previous Mario Tennis games disdained it... (more)
