Game 1: Indie darling Cave Story had a strong run reaching the Sweet Sixteen as a 13 seed, but its time came to a close at the hands of Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow, which has fittingly reached the finals in the Transylvania region. Castlevania: Dawn of Sorrow is the only remaining handheld original in the field (although other titles have appeared in handheld form)... (more)

Game 1: Chrono Trigger lived up its billing as a number one seed and all time classic as it smashed the well respected Gamecube remake, Resident Evil, and earned itself a spot in the Elite Eight. It joins FFVI as the second 16 bit Square RPG in the final eight... (more)

Game 1: Sonic the Hedgehog 3 fought the good fight in a forum full of SNES fanboys, but ultimately it went down fairly easily against the much higher ranked Final Fantasy VI (more)
