I know we've had discussion on the Wii U but right now I'm getting more into Shovel Knight as a series than ever and it's all thanks to the portability and large screen of the Nintendo Switch. I went and beat the original Shovel Knight already once more. It was a blast but I only ever dabbled in the first level of Plague of Shadows... (more)

Unfortunately, I had a horribly extended airport pick-up yesterday, so I had to cut my Skyward time short, but it did give me time to listen to the 25th Anniversary dealio at ear-bleeding volumes. Brief impressions: Pretty damned good! I enjoyed the full experience even more than the clips on the Nintendo Channel (which makes me think that the live show would have been even better)... (more) |

Secret of Mana was the game that showed me that RPGs didn't have to be just single player, turn-based affair. I grew up with this game, and playing through it time after time with my bud. What memories do you guys have of this game? We've got 29 ratings for it on our database; have an unfortunate number of Negative World users missed out on this gem?.. (more) |

It seems like we can add this to the list of what exclusives are coming to the Wii in 2011, and wow, a game using DS connectivity this late in the console's life cycle? I never expected that. The name alone had me interested from the beginning, I'm glad I continued to keep up with the news about it... (more)
