Nintendo have confirmed via a press release that Nintendo TVii alongside other multimedia applications will now be pushed back to December and will be installed via a system update. There is no indication of when in December this will be released... (more) |

Gonna drop EarthBound in favor of this for a while. I was a little skeptical when I heard that Kenji Yamamoto (composer for Metroid Prime) was doing the music for this game, but dang, it really shows once you get to the fire world! I'm doing a stealth playthrough; super-rewarding. And that iron golemn fight was probably one of the coolest things I've ever done in a game... (more) |

Thats right another glaring omission to Nintendo's eShop service gets rectified this week with the release of two 3DS demos. Thats right the demo you have all been waiting for Cooking Mama 4 gets released on the eShop this week along with the less requested Resident Evil Revelations Demo (more)

For awhile I was the kind of person who would just go digital all other things being equal but now that I have the 20% off all games at Best Buy thing I like physical releases!.. (more)

I've never been one for the whole mobile scene's "match three" puzzlers, but I got this as a surprise gift from my sisters-in-law and I've been enjoying it. It feels largely more puzzle-based and strategic than most games of this ilk, and the RPG and Mario elements help flesh out the package too. Anyone else got this?.. (more) |

So after completing Dragon Quest VI, I've chosen that Chinatown Wars was the next game to knock off my backlog. I'm not in the mood to follow an RPG up with another RPG (which is mainly what my backlog is made out of), and this is a lengthy game that will feel good to put behind me. Plus, it came up recently on RFN and that reminded me that it is super fun. There's no good reason why I stopped playing it other than something newer and shinier came along... (more) |

Let's take a few minutes of our lives to flatter this gorgeous purple devil. He's big. He's voiced by Duke Nukem. He can fish. He can belly flop. He can almost sort of, not really swim.
