12 hours and 14 minutes. That's how long the gameplay record on the Nintendo Channel on my Wii says it took me to beat Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles: My Life as a Darklord. That makes it, by far, the longest single-player campaign of any Wiiware title I've played. Heck, it even beats several full retail Wii releases like MADWORLD (8 hours 45 minutes), Overlord: Dark Legend (7 hrs 16 min), or Punch-Out!! (6 hrs 1 min, first run through only)... (more)

Who here has Dr. Mario Rx? I'd love to get some online going. I haven't played in forever so my skills have atrophied, but I'm a fairly advanced player I'd say and I'd love to get a challenge that isn't some Japanese housewife. Anyone wanna try to plan some gaming?.. (more)

It's been 10 years now since the first game. Anyone else looking forward to experiencing this on Wii? Just 3 more days before the release. Got a copy reserved at Gamestop comes with a bonus soundtrack disc. I never beat the original and got stuck fighting the Cybil boss at the amusement park several years ago last time I played it. A part of me feels I should try and beat the original then play this game. I think my brother left his PSX here still when he took his PS2 so I may have that option still...Hmm... (more)

I've been hearing a lot from the gaming press and gamers about how NSMBW is sure to surpass the sales of SMG, and perhaps even overtake the 360 SKU of Modern Warfare 2 this year. They talk about it as if its success was assured from the beginning, a foregone conclusion. And first day sales of 500,000 units sure seem to support this prediction... (more)

Yes, I am talking about Lufia II of course. Wasn't expecting this. Lufia and Lufia II on SNES are some of my favorite RPGs of all time. I hope they don't screw this up... (more)

Games are looking more realistic and developers keep trying harder to excite their audiences but I'm finding that instead of them getting better, many are crossing a line of good taste and demonstrating just how shallow our talent pool of writers and directors is... (more)

I've actually been thinking about this for a bit, and replying to Zero in the Apathy thread made me think of something in particular... why is it that nowadays a game's budget is even a gamer's concern?.. (more)
