Alright, I've been thinking. I loved the Resident Evil games. But man, zombies seem like the new "modern warfare" trend right now. Or in some cases, both are combined. Actually, that is a pretty cool mode, but it's not exactly disproving my point. Zombies are everywhere, and it is starting to get, dare I say it, a bit overdone... (more)

Herein we have the first Sonic game that is universally liked by all critics since... well, Sonic 4. But before that, since Sonic Adventure 2 on the Dreamcast. And, while I think reviewers are going a little too far, they're not off, either. Far from it. Indeed, a lot of what you heard in those reviews is completely accurate, so much so that my review may be a bit redundant. But reviewing this game is a necessity for me. People complain about shoehorned motion controls or games that do not use motion controls at all, therefore not “justifying” their existence on the Wii. Personally, I find it much more offensive when a developer doesn’t leverage the controller’s capabilities when they would obviously have been an improvement over what was settled on. There is a surprising number of games out there that have made me think “Are you kidding me!?” when they have me tilting an object using buttons. Thankfully, developer Broken Rules has not adopted the lazy approach when porting their game And Yet It Moves, a game all about twisting and turning the world around your character, from the PC to the Wii...
