WayForward is slowly but surely becoming one of my favorite developers. I adored A Boy and His Blob on Wii and was a huge fan of Shantae: Risky's Revenge, my first DSiWare download. When I was looking for a "new" title to play on my 3DS, I decided to choose another WayForward title: Mighty Flip Champs!.. (more)

Nintendo has once again partnered with the pinball wizards at Fuse Games to bring Pinball Pulse: The Ancients Beckon to the DSiWare service. Although Fuse's first Nintendo collaboration, Mario Pinball Land, received a tepid critical reaction, their second game, Metroid Prime Pinball, was a quality pinball experience, and The Ancients Beckon may be their best work yet. This original stand-alone table stands apart from its predecessors in two ways: (more)

Do you like puzzle games? Do you like classic NES graphics and sound? Nintendo and Skip bring together these two elements in a fun puzzle game as part of the ongoing Art Style series. Pictobits doesn't necessarily bring any radical changes to the standard 'match the colored blocks' puzzle genre, but the Nintendo fan service is definitely a good reason to pick up this DSiWare classic... So that was your plan Nintendo, spend years making us fat playing your videogames and then reap the profits but providing us with a way to get skinny again. Many of you may know I have a habit of getting a little obsessive with weight loss games, I create some sort of competition, work my arse of to ensure I win and then spend a few months piling the pounds back on. I am currently back to about 240 pounds, am feeling very lethargic and have started getting heartburn, this is not good. Over the course of the next few months I will be sticking to a calorie controlled diet (between 1500 and 2000 per day) while utilising the various tools provided by our beloved Nintendo systems... Round. Pink. Cute. Named after a brand of vacuum cleaners. Kirby has a lot going for him, but in his very first adventure which came out in 1992 on the Game Boy, he had a little less going for him than what people are used to. But to judge Kirby's Dream Land on what it does not have instead of what it has would be doing it a disservice, and missing the little blob's first journey would be a mistake for anyone calling himself a Kirby fan... I made this thread so Negative World members could take a look at all the Virtual Console and 3D Classic titles that have been released for the eShop so far. I hope it helps you with your purchasing decisions in the future and maybe to find some unappreciated gems. I will update it on a weekly basis and make new threads as needed, to avoid this thread and others from become to crowded with titles. As per suggestions from @Anand and @roykoopa64, I have also included links to the Negative World Game Database, which you can access by clicking on the name of the game, and reviews (if any) for the games, which you can access by clicking on (Review) under the name... The Michael Bay Transformers films have gone through an interesting turn of events leading up to the third, and apparently final, installment. When people found out a live-action Transformers movie was being made, the hype level soared high like Starscream flying off into Cybertron. When the movie came out, people loved it. It wasn't a masterpiece by any means, but it was a well-made action movie and serviceable enough for fans of the franchise (myself being one). The fact that they killed Jazz angered me, since he's one of my favorite Autobots, but the movie was pretty damn good nonetheless. I thought the tie-in with Earth was a good idea, and the human scenes were good, for the most part. Not to mention the Transformers looked awesome and the transformation sequences were something to behold... (more)

In the last five years there have been four Mario platformers, across the DS and Wii. New Super Mario Bros. (2006), Super Mario Galaxy (2007), New Super Mario Bros. Wii (2009), Super Mario Galaxy 2 (2010). Super Mario 3DS could be the fifth Mario game in five years, if it releases this year... (more)
