I suppose I should start this review with a disclaimer: I am a huge, huge fan of Demon's Crest a.k.a. Gargoyle's Quest III on the SNES, and I have been hoping against hope that the game would eventually make it on the Wii's Virtual Console so more people could discover its greatness. 'Playing' Nintendo's latest take on the Pet Simulation genre has been quite the journey. My initial experience with the game was wholly positive; embroidered with a new perspective - quite literally- on caring for virtual pets. However, having played the previous installment in the franchise, aptly titled Nintendogs, I felt that it would be a fun experiment to hold off on a full review until I've played the game the way it was meant to be played. Harking back to the previous game, my initial impressions and final thoughts regarding the quality of the game were quite different. With this experiment, I felt it would only be fair to assess the quality of the game after at least a few months, due to the nature of the game's design, which is intended to be played on a day-to-day basis... So, as several of you know, I've been spending the last week or so replaying Super Mario Sunshine. And while my feelings about the game are that it's the worst 3D Mario game out there, I still feel it was a fun game overall. And I think it was unanimously decided that regardless of the quality of it *as a Mario game,* it still ended up being the best platformer from last gen... (more)

"The year is 19XX. A power-hungry rogue nation has invaded its neighboring countries, placing the stability of the entire world in danger. In order to preserve the peace, a secret submarine fleet, chosen from the best and brightest of the world's navies, has been formed. They are known as the Steel Divers." (more)

In case you don't know, it is reviewing very, very well. I've read many reviews calling it the best JRPG of the generation, and one even called it the best JRPG since the 16-bit era... (more)

NIntendo has put up a new tool on their site where you can put in your 3DS Serial Number and verify whether you are a Nintendo Ambassador. Here's the information straight from the site. Note: Some people have been getting messages saying that they are not Ambassadors when they put in the whole code. If this happens to you, try putting in all numbers except for the number in the box. I tried it both ways and it worked for me... (more)
