Just in time for the last Wii U-less holiday season is a new Blue Wii console coming to stores. It's exclusively going to be sold at Wal-marts and Sam's Clubs around the country. Will you be getting one? They're only going to cost $99.96... In Europe they're going to be sold with the new Sonic and Mario olympics game. In a way this is all kinda tempting... BUT, personally, there's no way in hell I plan to deal with huge lines and massive idiots during Black Friday. And not to bash anyone who does do that sort of thing, but I'm referring specifically to those who have trampled people and killed them... those kind of massive idiots. Anyway, who is brave enough to seek these bad-boys out?.. (more)

As I stand today at 11am, us Canadians are remembering the soldiers who have died in the Wars we have fought in (Veterens Day for our American Friends). I'm not sure what I would do if faced to fight for my country - I'm wondering if I would have the guts and the skill to fight without being blown up within the first 30 minutes and as I get older, I grow more proud of the people who have sacrificed everything they have just so we could enjoy what's left... Triforce of Power: The Triforce of Power embodies the essence of the Goddess of Power, Din, the creator of Hyrule. Whoever holds the Triforce of Power is granted "true power". This power is absolute, making the recipient of Din's blessing a god-like entity, vastly more powerful than any mortal, affording its wielder invulnerability, vast strength and an unlimited source of mystical power... Kirby definitely fits the bill of a “quick-change artist,” not just due to his ability-stealing talents providing variety and fun, but because Nintendo often molds the amorphous puffball into new gameplay scenarios all the time. Amidst the Pinball Lands, Block Balls, Star Stackers, Avalanches, Dream Courses, Tilt n’ Tumbles, Air Rides, Mass Attacks, and even Epic Yarns, though, it’s nice to get a traditional Kirby adventure once in awhile. That's exactly what Kirby's Return to Dream Land is, and it’s pretty long overdue (being the first traditional console Kirby game since 2000’s Kirby 64)... (more)

So time and time again video game music pops into my head. Today, Sonic The Hedgehog 2's Casino Night Zone theme came into my head which then meant I would continue to think about Sonic all day... and it got me wondering... what is YOUR favorite classic Sonic game?.. (more)

Now I wish I held out on buying a 3DS, is that not a glorious sight? No word yet on whether this is making it outside of Europe but Nintendo sure are treating us Europeans extra special this year... (more)
