Oy! I just went to check out your Modest Collection and 0% of it is in the database! Oh no!

I was just asking Zero about "who has the most NES games" the other day after I discovered I'm at 313. Where do you ring in? Add your gaaames! Its quick, easy, and FUN!

@r_hjort

Tengen Tetris is like..a Holy Grail of sorts. I really like Crystal Mines (Color Dreams), though its somewhat like Boulder Dash.

--I also don't believe in "off topic." Its just a different topic, which arose through on-topic speak. You know, like real life!

"Man, whats with this weather (on topic)?"
"I dunno, its pretty hot for my tastes (on topic)"
"I should get a pair of shorts to stay cool (on topic)."
"You know, they're on sale at Target right now (on topic)"
"Oh? I was in Target last week and picked up a Blu-Ray player, 80 bucks (off topic)."
"Wow, what a steal! I should totally get one, too! (off topic, and helpful)."

See? I can dig it!

How does that collection thing even work? Do I add what I have on carts and discs only, or do VC releases count too? I don't have all that many games in physical format compared to true collectors, and sadly I think NES is the home console I've got the least cartridges for.

I'll be on the look out for those games, thanks! Doubt I'll actively hunt them down anytime soon, but it's good to know what's, er, good.

I'm not quite as anti-off-topic as I make it out to be, btw, but I think it's a shame to hi-jack a thread. Not saying that actually happened here, though.

You treat your VC releases like the actual carts. If you have it on the VC (say, you bought Wario's Woods on the Wii), you "own" the NES game as far as the NW Database is concerned. Its pretty quick and easy! The best way -- I think -- is to start with something like this, and check all of the games you own, throw in your "Status" if you have one (Done if you beat it, 100% if you 100%'d it, To Do, Wanted, etc.), and then score it if you're able to score it. When you're done with that page, and you've clicked / scored / etc., just hit "Click to update this page" at the bottom, and move onto Page 2.

Every NES game is there, so you shouldn't miss something. It IS possible that there are Japan / EU Only games out there still; if you encounter one, throw it in the DB! Games that are the same game but named different things in different regions are treated as the NA title, so be careful.

"Hi-jack a thread?" Please. You had something to talk about and talked about it. Fine by me.
(Though others might not dig, I get it.)
