The lands of Labrynna and Holodrum cry out for a saviour. The forces of evil are gaining power. The Triforce summons you.
As Link, take up your sword once more to determine the fate of two worlds, in the Game Boy Colour classics. Wield the powers of the Oracles to traverse time and control the seasons. And link your quests to reveal the hidden truth in an epic meta-adventure that is greater than the sum of its parts.
Mangetic Gloves are the coolest thing I've seen in a 2D Zelda! Even Roc's Cape, I love how it fans out from Link's back like wings! Oh, and controlling the Magic Boomerang!? Plus, the M. Boomerang can kill so many annoying enemies (those glowy circle dudes?).
......................... maybe Nintendo should let 3rd parties have a hand in their games more often?
Maybe I'm just good at rhythm games, but I aced all four levels of the Goron dance (Bronze, Silver, Gold, then Platinum in the past), and only made two mistakes total. I don't really get the complaint about this section...it seemed like an average-difficulty Rhythm Heaven minigame.
Haha. I'm just starting the Mermaid's Cave after doing both dance sessions. I REALLY dislike the trading sequences of these things... who ever though they were a good idea?
You collect them via people you encounter who will tell you them in Ages. You could probably find a list of people who give you these codes. The Ages people will tell you codes to go back and put in your Seasons game to give you more powers. However, you can then get passwords to put that same power back in Ages. This would normally be cumbersome and annoying but save states and the fact both games are probably next to each other on your 3DS should allow for very quick password submission.
You can alternatively input the codes you receive into the front desk of the trees that are in each game for quicker access to the goodies.
So in Seasons when you have to go to the beach to dig up that thingy like... I totally thought I was doing it wrong because I ran all over, trying all different places and nothing. And then I thought, I'm just going to dig up every single square possible. AND I DUG UP LITERALLY EVERY SQUARE POSSIBLE, IT APPEARING IN THE LAST ONE. Was this a total coincidence, or is the game really just trolling everyone like this?
@Zero I don't know, but I remember it took a good while for me. I don't recall if it was the very last square, but I'm pretty sure I dug up most of the beach before finding it.
After a few weeks' break, I got started on Oracle of Ages. Made it to the second dungeon. I feared I might be a bit burned out after Seasons but I'm enjoying it so far.
Yeah, it's a bit easier for us with the linked game, we can get a couple of advantages that the fresh players didn't. I know I was ready to throw my GBA out the window 12 years ago.
