Moon Knight and Hulk seem like really "easy" tables, or at least, they're tables in which you'll feel like you're doing well without reading the table guides. By contrast, X-Men and Thor tables can make you feel really lost if you're only goal is to keep the ball in play for as long as possible.
Not too soon I hope, it took me many tries to best you last time. :)
Don't worry, I can't seem to beat ya, but its going to happen. I think the score,(at least for my skill level) is getting up there. I know how to score the big points, but actually being able to do so is another thing. I end up losing my balls too soon or I end up getting really close and then screw it up.
It's a tough table! I can beat the Welcome Committee , but I've never successfully wiped out any of the other wave of zombies. Going Nuts is too foggy to keep the balls in play for very long, Diggers seems easy enough but they move too fast... get the hang of beating those and it would probably be easier to rack up a bigger score.
My best score so far was down to beating WC and then triggering the mail box twice. :)
I'm thinking of buying a table, but have never put enough time into a video pinball game, or hell, even a real pinball game to understand more than hit a bunch of bumpers and ramps and hopefully hit a jackpot. Which tables does everyone have?
First of all, just download all the trials and see if any of them stand out for you. The trials are half the tables' code anyway, and the "full tables" are just the other half, so you need both anyway if you want to buy a table.
If you're looking for an individual table, then a lot of the people on Miiverse like Epic Quest. If you've tried it and think it may be a little too silly, then Paranormal and Mars seem to be tied for a close second. Mars in particular gives off a very "Space Cadet Pinball 3D" vibe. If you want to go for one of the Marvel packs, then I'd recommend the Virtue and Vengeance pack.
My wife, who does not play games much at all, recently went on a bit of a bender to try and beat my (not great) score on the Avengers table. She eventually did. I think I may have to try this competitive tactic to get her to play even more games!
I agree with Dark Weres about checking out all the trials. Hopefully they're enough to inform you what you want to buy. I got the pack with Avengers, the Virtue and Vengeance pack, Plants vs Zombies and Epic Quest. I'll likely get others eventually.
1st, I will admit that I know nothing about a fix like this, though at the same time, I would think a halfway decent tech. could get something like this fixed in less than a day. Its been several weeks now. Boo!
Yes, it's maddening. And just as my old lady has become obsessed with the game. She is still playing pretty regularly, which is great. A few days ago someone on mii verse mentioned the scores actually were working for a few hours, so that's weird too. I really hope it gets taken care of very soon.
and I'm really enjoying them! I haven't played much video pinball since the Game Boy and SNES, so this is a real treat. The tables look and sound awesome.
Is there a way I can see what pinball tables are being played by my friends? I'm asking because on the four tables I play, I'm only competing against 1 or 2 friends (Vinnom aka VinnieBrock, and @Koovaps). It would be nice to play a table where a large group of friends are competing.
I have the high score on all four tables by the way, Koovaps.
Haha, I guess I'm gonna have to play some more then! I'm not sure if there's a way to check what tables are being played, though. I do love the game, though, even though I'm not great at it. It's a fun time waster. I have over half the table as well.
