Welcome to the Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate thread! This will be our headquarters for coordinating our Hunts, sharing stories of war, and helpful hints for our brothers-in-arms, compatriots, friends, and neighbors. Please be mindful of folks' different definitions of "spoilers," and remember that not EVERYBODY played Monster Hunter Tri on the Wii, though everybody totally should've.


The "burden" of running this thread has been placed upon me but...I can't do it alone. I will lean on Maxi and others to help with the heavy lifting occasionally, both in planning things and also in feeding this thread. Please keep it bumped (once we get going). If you could, let us know if you're getting this game, WHEN you're getting this game, and what your aspirations are so we can get us situated in groups with likeminded people. Do you want to barely play this game? Is this going to be your new #1? The most fun with this game is had when you get to go out with a group of guys week in week out, so if we can find someone with a schedule similar to yours, you'll have the most fun with it.

Not sure. Depends how late you wanna be up. Nikki and I finally got our wedding video (yes, really) from our dumb guy. We're gonna watch that as soon as I get home; probably shouldn't be playing MH through that. If you're still around after that, I can play while we watch other shows or something, no problem.

--What time are you going to JP's tomorrow? I MAY make an appearance early early (for Raw Deal). Definitely out before 3pm.

I can probably get on around 10:30, 10:40. I wanna eat something quick though, and I gotta drive home from work. Is someone already there? You could probably host a room and people would come from miles around...like Lou!

To be fair, I ALWAYS have trouble with the time conversion. I was scouring the web trying to find the Smash Bros. feed at 7:00. And then I finally found the video. From two hours before.

Good work last night. I made my Bushido dual blades, and maxed out my Diablos dual blades. I currently have nothing that can be updated! I suppose I can start a new tree... I'll have to consult my handy list to see what I can make!

I was telling Lou during our Quest, "this used to be deemed impossible."
Two victories. One at 25 minutes, the next at 21:03. No faints, barely any danger. BOOM ROASTED
(Or rather, BOOM FROZEN. Like every single hit was dropping Ice Damage on the dude. He fell down...12 times?)

And I'm glad you could witness the POWER of the Guild Bard set, rocking its Great Luck best on Event Quests.

EDIT- OH, and I talked to Chack the other day! Shot him a random email, and he's alive, which is AWESOME NEWS. He sold his Wii U though, apparently (...), but bought a new one (...) and has a new name on MH (...), so go ahead and delete his old one from your friend list. He's not sure when he'll be able to play with us next, but I told him to swing on by here when he's ready. Looks like the Quest begins anew (though I think he's already HR7).
