Am I the only sucker who got this?
I can't link to a trailer because I'm work, but I think you've seen it before: it's the game with digitized actor that's a take on the whole Puzzloop/Zuma concept.
Really, the wackiness, the "oh, Japan" factor is the biggest reason to get the game. If you're really into the style and you really want to watch absurd full-motion video cutscenes that feel like tripping on acid... in Japan, then by all means go ahead and get this game.
Unfortunately, as a game it's a little unsatisfying. It's rather short, and the controls are annoying and don't feel very precise. You aim using the stylus on the touch screen, and move the pointer around the top screen where the actual action is. I can't help but feel that a more direct input would have been better, perhaps by putting the action on the bottom screen, or making this game for the Wii U or Wii instead (using the Wiimote's pointer).
It's also something like $7 or $8, which feels a good $4 too much for this type of game. When comparably priced games on the eShop include Liberation Maiden and Crimson Shroud, this one is a little hard to recommend. I half justify it to myself by thinking I'm essentially paying Mitchell back for never getting Puzzloop or Magnetica, and instead getting Popcap's ripoff, Zuma, haha.
Anyway, I can't fully recommend the game, but it's still good for a laugh. If you buy few eShop games however, there are a million other games I'd tell you to check out before this one.
